But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." Luke 18:15-17
Your children are a priority to God—your children are a priority to us! Our children’s ministry is led by enthusiastic volunteers who will help get your kids excited about Jesus and what He’s done for them. We desire to partner with you as a parent in helping shape your kids spiritually.
When a 6th grader leaves our ministry we hope all of them will:
We will meet at the building at 7:30 am, then head out to Palo Duro Canyon for time of playing, praying, and praising our God in a place where it is so easy to see his awesomeness. I have the Tasajillo Pavilion reserved for the day, so we will be able to do all the outdoor things but have a place to do some activities inside as well. I will communicate with parents of the kids registered closer to time with our return time.
Each child will need to bring a Bible, journal, pen, water bottle, sack lunch, sunscreen, and good hiking/closed toe shoes.
There is a maximum number of participants for this, so please register soon if you want to attend!
Targeted for 4-year-olds - 2nd grade - but everyone is welcome!
9:00 - 10:00 am in Club 513
Bring the kids (all children under the age of 5 will need to have an adult stay with them) in their PJs. We will eat some pop tarts/donuts and then let the kids "Adopt a Bible Buddy", receive a kids devotional Bible/book and sign a promise to read their Bible to their Buddy! No fee, but please register your kids by June 4th!
Our new 2-year-olds will transition to Kids Village, and our fall kindergartners will advance to Club 513. Our fall 5th-grade graders will do Handprints in Club 513 on May 13th and 17th and move to Route 56 on May 17th.
A space for parents of young children to pause, reflect, and begin with intention. Together, we will consider what it means to raise children who know and love Jesus, and how the church can walk alongside you in that journey. Registration required.
A meaningful, shared moment as we bless your child and stand with your family - committing together to walk alongside you as faith takes root and grows. Registration required.

Wednesday Night Live! is a place for families to laugh, play, eat, and simply be together. Throughout the summer, we'll gather each Wednesday night for fun, low-pressure evenings filled with games, good food, connection, and a whole lot of fun - think bingo, giant games, silly competitions, and moments your family will talk about on the way home.
But more than just fun, Wednesday Night Live! is about building relationships. There's something meaningful that happens when we share a meal, laugh together, and spend unhurried time side by side. These simple moments create space for connection - for kids and parents to be known, for friendships to begin, and for a sense of belonging to grow.
All throughout the life of Jesus, we see Him meeting people in ordinary moments - around tables, along the road, in the middle of everyday life. In that same spirit, these nights are an open invitation to come as you are, to be welcomed, and to experience community in a genuine and life-giving way.
Whether you've been part of our church family for years or you're just looking for a place to start, you are welcome here. Bring a friend and join us for a summer of laughter, good food, and meaningful connection.
6:30 - 8:30pm - Join us at the Amarillo Town Club pool, located across from the church, for an evening of swimming, playing, and connecting with other families.
After our Southwest family pool party at the Town Club come join us for this dumb game... it's a fun time!
6:00-7:30 - First day of school for Canyon and the second day of instruction for Amarillo. Join us for a meal on this hectic day, with no agenda other than connection. Held in the Southwest fellowship hall/gym. $5/person, five and under free. Pay at the door.
